Porya Mostaghimi

Porya Mostaghimi is a partner with The PM Law Firm, PLLC in Houston, working in all areas of civil litigation. Porya’s primary focus remains with the firm’s commercial, personal injury, and bad faith insurance litigation.
Porya was raised in Houston, Texas, and earned his undergraduate degree with high honors from The University of Houston in 2005. Mr. Mostaghimi graduated from the Baylor School of Law where he was a member of the Order of Barristers. Mr. Mostaghimi was admitted to practice law in Texas in 2008. Prior to joining The PM Law Firm, Porya’s handled various cases as a solo practitioner.
Porya remains passionate about providing efficient and effective advocacy to insurance policyholders and claimants that have been wrongfully denied and/or underpaid for their loss. Porya and his team have extensive experience representing policyholder clients focused on insurance law, including insurance claim presentation, business income loss claims, coverage disputes, bad faith failure to pay issues, Alternative Dispute Resolution, and first-party insurance litigation. Porya also has experience representing clients in personal injury, criminal defense and family law.
Porya is a member of the State Bar of Texas, Houston Bar Association, and has volunteered with the Houston Volunteer Lawyers Program. Porya is fluent in Farsi.
John Papapavlou

John Papapavlou is a partner at the PM Law Firm, PLLC a Houston-area law firm. He has devoted his career to fighting for victims who have suffered serious injuries due to the negligence of others. He regularly litigates motor vehicle, wrongful death, product liability, and insurance bad faith cases against major corporations, insurance companies, and individual defendants. Mr. Papapavlous representation has resulted in numerous successful recoveries for clients with catastrophic injuries.
Mr. Papapavlou earned his Bachelor of Arts in Classical Studies at Baylor University, has completed post-baccalaureate studies in Classical studies at Villanova University, and has earned his J.D. from South Texas College of Law .
Mr. Papapavlou has spent 5 of his childhood years in Greece and has been a long time resident of Houston, Texas, where he graduated from Klein High School in 1995. Mr. Papapavlou speaks Greek fluently.
Angelina Halbleib

Angelina T. Halbleib graduated from Texas State University in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice. During her time at Texas State University, Angelina was active in multiple student organizations including Phi Alpha Delta Pre-Law Fraternity, Phi Sigma Pi National Honors Fraternity and a member of the Texas State Honors Program. She earned her Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from St. Mary’s School of Law in San Antonio, Texas.
Angelina joined PM Law Firm PLLC as an associate attorney in 2017. Angelina’s primary practice area at PM Law Firm is litigation, focusing on personal injury. Angelina strives to be an advocate for her clients. Her objective is to ensure that her clients are justly compensated within the area of personal injury and to guide her clients through the process. In her spare time, Angelina enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends including her canine companion.
Ray Alcantara

Ray Al D. Alcantara was born and raised in Manila, Philippines. Ray moved to Lake Charles Louisiana in 1990. In 2001, Ray graduated from McNeese State University with a Bachelor of Science in Finance. Ray earned his law degree in 2006 from Thomas Jefferson school of Law in San Diego California. During his time at Thomas Jefferson Ray was a member of the Asian Pacific American Law students Association.
Ray Joined PM Law Firm PLLC as an associate in 2019 after working for 6 years at Capital One Bank in their commercial underwriting department. Ray’s primary practice at the firm is litigation. Ray is passionate about helping individuals who cannot advocate for themselves and strives to get just compensation for every single one of his clients. In his spare time Ray likes to attend music festivals, and spend time with his friends and family.
